"Fire Station #32 is located at 12701 Mission Road and was opened in the spring of 1978. An extensive remodel of Station #32 was completed in the first quarter of 2004. It included changes to the exterior, completely updated living quarters, training room, kitchen, exercise room, and individual sleeping quarters. The station is also equipped with an emergency generator and a vehicle exhaust removal system. A Captain, Lieutenant, and 4-5 firefighters are currently assigned to Station #32 to staff or cross staff Engine 32, Truck 32, and Rescue 32. The Shift Commander's office and sleeping quarters along are also located here. In addition, Johnson County Med-Act has an Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance with two (2) Paramedics located at Fire Station #32. " - Leawood Fire Department Website
