Mulvane Fire Rescue Station 2

Mulvane Emergency Services opened this new 7,500-square-foot Fire & EMS substation in March 2014. Station 2 is built on the grounds of the new Kansas Star Casino, which occupies about 1,000 acres of newly annexed property. Crews from Station 2 cover everything west of the BNSF railroad which cuts the City of Mulvane in half with only one rail crossing. The station has two paramedics on-duty 24 hours a day staffing one ALS ambulance. One EMS lieutenant/supervisor is also stationed here from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Engine 403 is a Class A pumper and is staffed by volunteers
