The Reno/Harvey County Joint Fire District #2 is stationed in Buhler, KS. The District provides Fire and EMS protection to Northeastern Reno County and Northwestern Harvey County. In the 1980's the Buhler Fire Department changed to Reno/Harvey County Joint Fire District #2, running out of the same station. The district has 23 volunteers and makes around 60 fire calls, and 120 EMS calls per year.
