"Blue Township Fire Department (formally known as Pottawatomie County Fire District #5) has been serving the area of Blue Township since 1967 with a staff made up of 100% volunteers. We provide fire protection, ems first response, and rescue services to our community out of 2 stations (Station 1: 3503 Scottie Lane and Station 2: 7191 Dyer Road) with approximately 25 to 30 trained and dedicated Volunteer Firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics." - Department Website
