"Consolidated Fire District No. 2 (CFD#2) operates three fire stations. From these three facilities we maintain a fully staffed fleet of three Engines, two Trucks, one Heavy Squad (mini-pumper), one Heavy Rescue/Trench Rescue, and one Battalion Chief truck. Station 22 and 23 also house a Johnson County Med-Act ALS Ambulance. All CFD2 facilities are located strategically to optimize emergency response times for not only our own area of responsibility, but for the optimization of our joint service areas through automatic and mutual aid with all surrounding jurisdictions. Station 22 and 23 are both located in the City of Prairie Village, while Station 21 resides in the City of Mission Kansas.
