Viola Fire Department is a volunteer organization providing fire suppression and medical first response to Viola Township in southwestern Sedgwick County. It works in cooperation with Sedgwick County Fire District #1 and Conway Springs Fire Department. Nine volunteers respond to about 50 alarms a year from one station with one engine, one squad and two tenders. All the fire apparatus are loaned to Viola by Sedgwick County Fire District #1.
